Sunday Morning Children’s Ministry
At Grace Community Church, we want Sunday mornings to be a place where children feel welcomed, cared for and excited to learn about Jesus.
Children’s ministry is available for kids from birth through 5th grade during our 10 a.m. worship service. Each age group has its own space and age-appropriate activities designed to help children learn, play and grow in their faith.
Check-In
Children’s check-in begins at 9:45 a.m.
Families can stop at the Children’s Check-In Station before the service. Each child receives a name tag, and parents receive a matching security label connected to their child.
After the service, children are picked up through the same check-in area using the matching parent security label.
If it is your first Sunday with us, just stop by the check-in station and we’ll help get your family registered and show you where to go.
What to Expect
Children remain in their classrooms for the entire worship service.
A typical Sunday may include:
Playtime
Bible lessons
Memory verses
Games and activities
Crafts
Music and dance
Outdoor play when appropriate
Lessons and activities vary from week to week, but everything is designed to give kids an engaging environment where they can learn about God and build relationships with others.
Our children’s ministry uses Orange curriculum, which combines biblical teaching with age-appropriate activities and experiences.

First Time at Grace?
Visiting a new church with kids can come with a lot of questions. We want to make your first Sunday as easy as possible.
Arrive around 9:45 a.m., stop by the Children’s Check-In Station, and let us know it’s your first time. We’ll help you register your children, provide your security labels and personally show you where their classroom is.
Then you can head into the sanctuary for our 10 a.m. worship service while your kids enjoy a Sunday morning designed especially for them.
