STUDENT SERVERS

9th–12th Grade

Student Servers is a deeper discipleship and leadership opportunity for high school students who have demonstrated responsibility and commitment to the body of Christ.

The program runs primarily from September through May and is built around two important parts of discipleship: learning and doing.

Learning

Student Servers spend time each week growing in their understanding of Scripture and learning how to put their faith into practice. The goal isn’t simply to know more, but to develop students who are prepared to live out their faith and help others do the same.

It’s part of The Tribe’s larger mission of developing disciples who duplicate themselves.

Doing

Discipleship is meant to lead to action. Student Servers have regular opportunities to put what they are learning into practice by serving within Grace Community Church and throughout our community.

Students help with Sunday morning ministries and participate in outside service opportunities throughout the year. Initiatives such as Serve-Tember give students an intentional season to focus even more on what it means to serve like Jesus.

Through these experiences, students learn that serving isn’t simply something we schedule. It is part of what it means to follow Christ.
